A Ghana Glass Bead Necklace is a lovely way to add a pop of colour and texture to your decor. They can be displayed on a stand or actually worn.
These gorgeous beads are hand made in Ghana, Africa. They are made by crushing recycled glass to a fine powder and heating it so that the particles fuse together. The glass is then poured into clay molds, with a leaf stem used to make the hole. They are baked in an oven where the glass fuses and the stem burns up. This is a century old technique.
Dimensions: Each necklace is approximately 35cm long and the beads are 3cm diameter reach. A 50cm Iron and Wood Stand is available. The wood base of the stand is available in Black or Natural.
Variations available: Indigo, Green and Mixed Green/Blue.
