This is a large fabulous Hand Carved Wood Stool from the Nupe Tribe of Nigeria. These stools are carved out of a single piece of wood with intricate patterns and colours. The Nupe people live along the banks of the Niger river. Traditionally these beautiful stools are used as prestige objects on market days during important meetings. This unique Nupe stool would be a wonderful addition to any interior.
