2025 Escorted Tour Of Morocco
If you know Zohi Interiors, you also know how much we love Morocco. Our range of stunning Moroccan furniture and homewares is one of our most popular.
You might also remember that last year we experienced our very first small group tour of Morocco. And the good news is that it was such a fabulous adventure we’re doing it again.
And you’re invited!
The highlights of our tour
Our Moroccan ‘special agent’, Danielle, has put together a luxury program that will show you the best of what this fabulous destination has to offer.
Just imagine experiencing all of this:
The sights of Marrakech
Marrakech is known as the ‘Red City’ because its builders used the red sandstone mudstone and shale found in the region. Red sandstone walls encircle the historic medina (the ‘old town’), where you’ll find
Jemaa el-Fnaa (the ‘gathering space’), the main square and souk (marketplace). It’s packed with handicraft, souvenir and food stalls and there’s plenty of live entertainment.
You can also visit historic palaces and gardens and find out more about the rich history and architecture of the city.
Camel riding
The thrill of riding a camel through the dunes of the Sahara is something that will never leave you. It’s something you’ll find hard to describe to your friends, but you’ll be able to show them the pics. If you’re out at sunset, you won’t believe the changing colours of the desert sky.
‘Glamping’ in the Sahara Desert
This is a camping experience like no other – an experience to remember. You’ll sleep in a Bedouin-style tent, in a comfortable bed; the camp is fully equipped with toilet and shower facilities. It’s the best of both worlds. You’ll want to get up early to see an unforgettable desert sunrise.
A visit to a Hammam
The hammam is a traditional bathhouse, with steam rooms and spa. You’ll move between cold, warm and hot rooms and be scrubbed and pampered. You’ll come away totally invigorated and feeling like a new person.
A trip to Essaouira
This is a port city, surrounded by ancient walls. Once an important trading centre, it’s now a relaxed seaside destination. You’ll enjoy its many art and craft outlets and its pedestrian friendly medina. Perhaps you’ll take a walk along the beachside promenade. You might also spot some familiar landmarks; Essaouira has often been used as a film location.
What’s included?
On this fabulous 11-day tour you’ll enjoy luxury accommodation in a double, shared room. A single room is available upon request, at additional cost. All breakfasts are included. You’ll also have the opportunity to try some fabulous restaurants.
The tour cost covers transport by private mini bus, with Arabic and English-speaking chaperones, and the highlighted activities.
The cost doesn’t include flights, lunches and dinners, alcoholic beverages and optional activities.
There are plenty of fascinating things to do. To help you get the most out of your trip, Danielle, our expert local guide will show you the main sights as well as some ‘off-the-tourist-path’ spots (not to mention the best places to shop).
There’s also time to spend simply relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere of this beautiful place.
We’ve made sure there’s the perfect balance.
Travelling in a small group, with our own transport also means we have flexibility. There’s still time to make special requests for things to include in the trip.
