The Bamileke Table combines contemporary styling with the exotic flavours of Africa. The bamileke tables are the ultimate style statement in any contemporary or tribal inspired space, they can be used as a side table, coffee table or even a stool.
Each piece is remarkably made by hand carving a single tree trunk, making this a truly unique item. The workmanship and time taken can be difficult to comprehend, the craftsman hollow out the centre of the tree, leaving a thin exterior that they carve with an intricate pattern. Bamileke Tables are really a very special product with orders taking up to a year to secure by our suppliers from their original counterparts in Cameroon, especially for the larger ones.
These tables are natural and hand crafted. As wood contracts and expands with moisture in the air, cracking can occur in the wood. Fine cracks in the paintwork can be painted over and filled if necessary.
With so many sizes and the three colours available the stock of bamileke tables is constantly coming and going. Shipments can be up to weeks or months away at any point of time. Matched with high demand these beautiful timeless treasures can be difficult to supply and we recommend putting your name on a waiting list if you have your heart set on one and you cannot find them at a retail outlet. We try to hold stock so please check the availability with us if you require delivery within a specific timeframe. Please contact us for more info.

size matters
I love the table. My only complaint is that i ordered the 50cm and knew it would deviate someqhar rrom that size but was shocked that it was literally 47.5cm just pushing it into the 50cm size frame.
