This cushion is made from vintage Kuba cloth – a rough textured fabric made by the Ngeende branch of the Kuba people who are native to the Congo. Made from raffia palm fibre, using traditional patchwork applique, embroidery and natural plant dyes. Traditionally the original cloth is worn as ceremonial skirts, today they have been made into cushions and remain collectible pieces of African textile. Limited stock available.
